A remarkable journalistic project which I have enjoyed following from day to day! A question for Nicole: did she noticed if her father and other American Vietnam veterans expressed embarrassment or regret when they observed life in present-day unified Vietnam which could reflect their sense that the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a much happier country than the corrupt and militaristic South Vietnam of Vice Marshall Ky and President Thieu, for the defence of which the US lost 50,000 soldiers and inflicted on its adversaries 500,000 casualties ?
